Succumbed to wounds sustained in the terror attack at Ariel Junction on Sunday, March 17, 2019.

March 18, 2019 - Rabbi Achiad Ettinger, 47, succumbed to wounds sustained in the terror attack at Ariel Junction on Sunday, March 17 2019.

Rabbi Achiad Ettinger, 47, father of 12 from the settlement of Eli, was critically wounded while driving past the scene of the terrorist attack at the Ariel Junction in the northern West Bank. Ettinger was transferred to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva where doctors fought for almost 24 hours to save his life. He succumbed to his wounds today (Monday, 18 March 2019).
Rabbi Ettinger was the head of the Oz and Emunah hesder yeshiva (seminary that combines religious study with IDF service) in the Neve Sha'anan neighborhood of southern Tel Aviv. Survived by his wife and twelve children, Rabbi Ettinger was buried at the Segula cemetery in Petah Tikva on Monday, March 18, 2019.
